Do I need a finished idea?

No. You can begin with an emotion, a favourite work or a photograph of your interior. We will discuss the rest together.

What can be agreed individually?

We discuss the direction of the composition, its size and the space it is intended for. I confirm the scope before starting.

How much does a commissioned painting cost?

I prepare a quote after we agree on the size and nature of the work. You will receive it before I accept the commission.

How long does a commission take?

Timing depends on the size, nature of the work and current projects. I confirm it before accepting a commission.

Will it be a copy of an earlier painting?

An earlier work can be an inspiration. The new painting is a separate, original composition.

How does collection or delivery work?

We arrange this individually. Please share the delivery location and your preferred date so we can discuss the options.

Can I influence the colours and size?

Yes. We will discuss them in relation to your space and the character of the work. We agree on the final scope together before starting.

Can I commission a painting as a gift?

We can discuss it. Describe the person the painting is for and the date of the occasion. First, we will confirm the direction and whether the timing is possible.

Will I see a design before painting begins?

We agree at the outset on how to discuss the composition and consult on the work. If you would like a sketch or a particular way of presenting the idea, ask about it before commissioning.
