I create paintings on natural linen, combining acrylic paint with pure gold leaf.

Stories of closeness, femininity and inner strength are closest to my heart. Through colour, form and gesture, I give them my own painterly language.

01 / WHY I PAINT

There are emotions
I turn into paintings.

Painting is my way of expressing what I experience and notice around me.

Nature, relationships and our inner world inspire me. Painting allows me to give these experiences form: to hold a gesture, emphasise tension or capture a moment of stillness.

I leave a part of myself in every work. Colour, composition and texture become a record of the feelings, reflections and experiences from which the painting grew.

Close to people.
Close to what they feel.

Closeness

Two people meeting, tenderness and connection. I am interested in how a relationship can be present in a gesture, a posture and a painted form.

Femininity

Its subtlety, strength and many dimensions. When painting the female figure, I explore tenderness alongside dignity and determination.

Reflection

Moments of pause and looking inward. I am drawn to paintings that let us spend time with our own thoughts and emotions.

03 / MY PAINTERLY LANGUAGE

What I feel
takes form.

I choose natural linen canvas. Its colour and visible weave help shape the character of the work. I apply pure 24-carat gold leaf to selected areas of the composition.

This meeting of brushwork and materials is part of how I tell a story. Light brings out new reflections in the gold and lets us see the painting differently.
